To the best of my knowledge and what I can see, the Steam controller settings should not be affecting this (I have them all turned off except for "guide button brings up steam overlay). I also use the controller with most of my Steam games and this is the only offender. I also play American Truck Sim and the controller stays connected just fine with (I believe) the same setup (using the input wizard). The controls will work again for a short while before cutting out again. While driving a load the controls will stop, the truck will veer off the road and the game will pause with a "Hit F1 to Continue" option. This is the only game giving me this problem, and I do.n't see any in-game settings to change anything. It is connected via Bluetooth (along with a mouse). This is the newest model of the official Microsoft controller (model 1914) and upgraded to the latest firmware (.0).
